How to Prepare for a Busy Day

It is important to extend one's AM meditation time on daycare days in order to conserve energy for a day full of zoomie funballs.

Ah... this is the optimal posture for total relaxation.

Dexter done!

  1. The eyes rolled back in the head is clearly indicative of deep mental preparation. We bow down to your understanding of the importance of savasana. BTW, Lard Butt didn't land on me (actually, she didn't come close, but our Mom liked the photo because I looked like I was running way in terror, while Abby looked like she was going to land hard. She landed fine. I think she's part cat.)

  2. I'm sorry to intrude on your meditation time, but wanted to thank you for your very intuitive comment on my blog. I was a wee bit afraid that I would be shunned and ostracized for being one of "those" doggies who give all other doggies a bad rap... but, thanks to you Dex, every dog who reads that post will realize that it was the groomers fault and that I was an innocent victim. The truth is that some groomers are patient, talk to me nicely and tell me what they're about to do... this helps me to stay calm and not freak out. I just need to find another one like that. Just wondering... do you counsel the other doggies at daycare when they have problems?

  3. Hey Dexter!
Wow, you got that right! That's how I snooze too...except I prefer the couch and all smushed up against Dad. Anyway, you ought to be perfectly ready for crazy zoomies! Have a blast, my furiend!

  4. Dexter, can I just say that you truly have mastered the art of looking intelligent and sophisticated whilst lying on your back with your paws in the air and your head lolling to one side. This is a feat that few pups can achieve.
    Well done.
