Dexter's Lawn Care and Fall Colors

I have taken on responsibility for eradication of pesky weeds throughout our neighborhood.

Weed be gone!

Fall in New England. The brilliant bursts of color make the inevitable onset of winter less foreboding.

Naturally, the trees are even more remarkable when contrasted with a sleek black labradog.

Hurry up with the photo. There's a whole year's worth of squirrel to snuffle in those leaves.

Dexter done!

  2. Your leaves look so purrty. Being from the South we has to admire them in pictures. We don't have the burst of color you do in New England. On the other hand most of our trees are evergreens.

  3. You look so handsome against the fabulous autumn leaves, Dexter!

    Love ya lots♥

  4. Your fall looks much more colorful than our fall. We're blaming it on the complete lack of rain this spring/summer. Nice work on the weed control! Maybe we should hire you to take care of some of the pesky growth on our hillside - apparently neither Abby nor I have the requisite equipment for weed control!

  7. Beautiful. Our leaves are having a hard time with the odd temperature fluctuations and now, we have the last gasps of Tropical Storm Karen messing with them.

  18. Dexter! I'm getting close to a solution. Won't be long now. In the meantime, enjoy the stunning beauty of your fall trees. They could be ordered at any time to cease and desist their colorful transformation due to the govt shutdown.

  19. I'm enjoying the Fall weather, too, but I don't want to think about Winter for a long time. I'm glad you've got those weeds under control!

  24. Howdy Dex, cool autumn photo mate. Did you colour co-ordinate your bandana to match the trees?? You are one cool dude. Thanks for weeding tip. We'll give it a go. Should keep us busy for the next 87 months or so. No worries, and love, Stella and Rory

  25. You are so helpful killing the weeds? You must be an honorary working dog, not sporting dog! And your trees are so pretty! The squirrels must be going NUTS!

  28. Oh WOW!!!!! You look stunning sitting next to that tree! If I lived in an area where there were real fall colors like that, I would quit my job and just sit outside staring at all the leaves until winter came.

  32. We love the Fall! You know what comes after Fall right? The white fluffy stuff!
I wanted to report to you that my day at the spa was nice. Mom was worried that I wouldn't do well because I am shy with humans but I did well. My late sister Angel Samantha on the other didn't like it when mom sent her many years ago. The groomer called mom and said that Samantha kept showing her fangs and she looked like she was going to bite. So mom had to pick her up. That's probably why mom was worried when she sent me.
    TGIF!!! Have a great weekend!

  34. Hi Dexter..long time no woof...I'm FINALLY getting to catch up! :-)

We LOVE the picture of your beautiful tree with the autumn leaves. Autumn is our favourite season...and in a way, it's ncie that we're upside down to the rest of the world 'coz even when we're going into spring, we can now enjoy autumn through all our dog blog friends in the Northern Hemisphere.

Oh! And We loved the post about your early start in blogging! We'd seen several puppy photos of Mango but hadn't actually seen any of you as a baby puppy....oooh, you were ADORABLE!!! :-)
