Just Playing Tennis Ball, That's All

Momma thought I had lost my tennis ball mojo because for some time now I have shown little interest in chasing it.

Nothing could be further from the truth. The fact is that I just don't like bouncing about when it is humid (a fact which she would have sussed out years ago had she not been so fixated on the RH and possibly spared me a thought).

So I made this little movie of me demonstrating that I am one fun loving tennis ball chasing labradog (given the proper weather).

You'll see Misha slinking about in the background. Unlike me, he truly does lack tennis ball mojo.

Oh, the movie is kind of boring, so I added some nice music for you to enjoy. Watch it here or below.

 Dexter done!

P.S. Sorry the music chopped off in such an abrupt fashion. That's what happens when you let YouTube do the dubbing.

  1. First, we SO want your yard. We could have some SERIOUS frisbee action in a yard that size! Second, nice music but we think a nice polka could have definitely added some pizzazz! Heheheh. You are a tennis ball maestro! (And it's about time that your Momma noticed that you aren't a fan of humidity. *sheesh* Is the DOH a tad slow, or what?!?) Finally, what is up with that little Misha dude? While my sister may be a fake doggie with her failing to react to trash-talking squirrels, that Misha doggie should turn in his doggie card, too. What self-respecting, non-Sibe doggie doesn't chase a tennis ball? You need to have a serious chat with that little dude. But we love watching the All-Dexter All-Tennis Balls All-The-Time action!

  2. We truly enjoyed watching your tennis ball skills Dexter!! You are very good at it! Misha...not so much. LadyBug doesn't like toys of any kind. None. We have tried and tried to teach her, but she just has no interest. Unless the toy actually contains foodables! Then....she will not leave it alone! xo Chloe and LadyBug

  3. Wooooooooohoooooooooo go Dexter go! I can see what you mean, Misha is not into it. I find tennis balls all around just too big for my tiny mouth, but I do enjoy spectating while you run around.

  13. Great music...despite the Utubeboob. We think that in time that cocker spaniel might want to join you in the play. Enjoy the yard and the ball.

  14. WOW Dexter you are the KING of Tennis Ball Playing.
We think that Misha is just learning the VALUABLE skill of Flashy Beast Avoidance.. and doing quite well at it.

  15. That running part looks very fun. I don't get the whole "chasing after something and bringing it back" thing, though. It's just not in my genetic makeup!

  18. Dexter, even we have had humidity here lately! So I don't feel like chasing tennis balls or The Bostons at all. I think you have proven Momma wrong and that you definitely are a tennis ball nut. Ann TBL

  26. Hi Dexter,

Thanks for visiting us at our blog. We scrolled back through yours and can see that you have been busy. (yes we did know about Mango last year and it made us very sad). We really like your map of dogs. Always good to know just who is in the neighborhood. See you soon.
