Momma Reads a Dog Book and I am Bored

Momma takes her stupid exam in ten days. In the meantime, in order to turn off her mentals at night, she has been doing the usual... reading.

She really liked this book, Rottweiler Rescue by Ellen O'Connell. Of course she loves Rottweilers. It figures. She is such a sucker for dogs with heads like bowling balls. You can read her review here.

As for yours truly, well, I'm bored out of my labramind. Yes, we are still doing (somewhat abbreviated) walkies and I am thankfully going to daycare on schedule, but even still, it is not an easy time for me.

Counting the days until things return to normal.

Dexter done!

  2. I bet my sister Rosie will love that book about Rotweiler. She is like your momma who loves big dogs and heads like bowling ball.

Good luck to your mom for her coming exam!

Cheer up, Dex! May be it's time for you to think of something exciting and put it into action. Just saying.

  9. Poor, poor Dexter. Maybe you can help your mom study. Make her flashcards or something. With the help of your brains, she'll be ready for the test early and can play with *you*!

    Good luck to your mom...

  10. Oh Dex...boredom just sucks. I find that picking up the odd shoe or sock and just carrying it around the house in my mouth really makes life more exciting. Just sayin'. Hoping the momma does well on her test..

  21. Dude. We are so impressed with the patience you have for your Momma and her crazy test stuff, When OUR Mom brings home extra work stuff, we try to distract her as much as possible - you know, so her mentals don't get stuck in one gear. Or something. We could send AirFiona for you, if you want to come out for some funballs tennis ball time. Especially since our Mom didn't point her bicycle north and go visit you while she was east of the Mississippi. ;-)
