MY Bed! MY Ball!

I wouldn't characterize the distribution of dog items under the reign of the Relentlessly Huge as sharing.

I shared, he took.

But look at me now.

A labrabed that is just right for me, a little red ball that I adore and can play with whenever I want. Heck, momma even scrubbed the slobber off the walls of the dog cave for me.

Yes, life is good.

Dexter done!

  2. Oh Dexter, you turned me to putty with your first line. There is nothing quite like having everything to yourself and being king (or queen as the case may be) of the house. Rule on! X

  6. Oh Dexter. I'm so glad that you're happy! I think that R, your fellow black labradude, really liked being the reigning emporor for a while. Now, he has to share again... but now he's boss so it's different.

  7. I am sure it was a little/lot hard to clean the slobber off the walls, and I am sure you still miss the little nosed big bro, but it must be so nice to have stuff of your own.

I have to share with Scrappy, Abby, Willa and now Josie and if that isn't enough, during the day I have to share with tons of other dogs. IT is like nothing is mine, well except for when My Vickie and I go somewhere, then she is all mine.

Well, there I go again, rambling.

  23. EXACTLY why we have remained a one-dog household. Cabana loves having all of us all to herself. But it's an ever-present temptation to get a second poochy-poo. In some ways, Mango Momma, I wonder if this post is a bit "thou dost protest too much"??? We can see that Dexter likes being a single pet, but what sayeth the Mango Momma and Master?

We hope 2013 will bring some peace to our place!
    I wish you the best!
    Take care

  29. Now that you're comfortably settled into Top Dog mode, must be time to start hunting for a new brother or sister. It will be different, because this time you'll be the senior doggie. R can once again serve as your model and mentor as you assume this new responsibility. We can't wait.
